Are MAUI MOISTURE® products tested on animals?
At MAUI MOISTURE®, we care deeply about the integrity of our products and our actions. When it comes to animal wellbeing, both MAUI MOISTURE® and our parent company share your concerns and believe that testing cosmetic and personal care products on animals should be obsolete. In fact, our parent company actively partners with research and advocacy organizations to advance alternative testing methods and the good news is that it’s working – there has been recent regulatory reform progress and we will continue to advocate for the acceptance of non-animal data globally. MAUI MOISTURE® products are not tested on animals and to reaffirm this policy, we have made an active decision to not sell MAUI MOISTURE® products in China, where regulations requiring animal testing exist. Are MAUI MOISTURE® products gluten free?
We are fully committed to your safety. While MAUI MOISTURE® products do not contain direct sources of gluten, the items are manufactured in the same facility as other products that do contain gluten. Therefore, we are unable to claim our facility is gluten-free. There is a possibility of contamination during the manufacturing process. We do not guarantee that our products are completely free of ingredients that may elicit an allergic reaction.
